Following the changes to the Local Government Act 2020, all Victorian Local Government Authorities must establish a workforce plan which satisfies a minimum set of prescribed criteria by December 31 2021.
Whilst not specifically referenced in the act, the required plan falls into the category of ‘strategic workforce planning’ given its outlook is greater than 12 months.
