MS Excel for HR Professionals
This incredible short course aims to develop and enhance the MS Excel skills of the broader people and culture community by identifying the most useful and frequently used excel functions and features and delivering lessons around each using human resources specific data to help contextualise how and when each function or feature can be utilised.
The course details are as follows:
- Cost – Professional Member $345 pp + GST, non Member $395 pp + GST
- Duration – approximately 1 day (completed at the desired pace of the attendee)
Learning Outcomes
On completing the course, participants should:
- Have enhanced comfort and confidence in using MS Excel to manipulate and present HR/People data
- Understand and apply intermediate sorting and filtering techniques
- Be able to use PivotTables to sort and manipulate data
- Be able to develop and annotate various graphs and charts available in Excel
- Be able to utilise the VLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH functions to return values from another worksheet
- Be able to use conditional statements to group data
- Be able to develop drop build down lists within cells and apply other data validation criteria to cells
- Be able to apply conditional formatting to cells and ranges
- Be able to produce and utilise basic PivotCharts and Slicers
