Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Workday in Focus Webinar Series is a Workday-sponsored series, produced and hosted by The Workforce Planning Institute Pty Ltd (ABN 61 650 520 317) WPI on behalf of Workday, Inc.
Because this is a Workday series, registering connects you with Workday. This notice explains, up front, what that means for your information. Please read it before you register.
We handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where you are in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we also handle it in accordance with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR as applicable.
Who is responsible for your information
WPI is the controller of the details you enter on the registration form. Once shared, Workday, Inc. is a separate and independent controller of your information and is responsible for its own use of it.

When you register, we collect the details you provide on the form:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your job title;
- your organisation; and
- any questions or information you submit before or during a session.
We also keep a record of which webinars in the series you register for and attend.
How your information is used
We use your information to:
register you for, and deliver, the webinars in this series; send you joining details, reminders, and links to recordings; and share your details with Workday as described below.
Workday uses the information shared with it to deliver the series and, where you have opted in, to contact you with marketing about its products and services, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Sharing with Workday
As the sponsor of this series, Workday, Inc. receives the registration details of attendees. The following applies:
- Workday is an independent controller of your information and handles it under its own [privacy policy].
- Workday will use your details to market its products and services to you only where you have opted in by ticking the consent box at registration.
- Workday is based in the United States, so your information will be transferred there (see International transfers).
- You can withdraw your consent at any time — contact us at info@workforceplanninginstitute.com or unsubscribe directly from any Workday message. Withdrawing consent does not affect sharing that has already taken place.
We keep a record of the consent you give so it can be demonstrated if required.
Other parties
We share your information with the service providers who help us run the series (for example, our webinar and email platforms), who may only use it to provide services to us, and where required or permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
WPI is in Australia; Workday, Inc. is in the United States. Registering for this series therefore involves your personal information being transferred to the US, and it may also be processed by overseas service providers.
Where we transfer personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this notice and applicable data protection law. If you are in the UK or EEA, transfers rely on your consent or an appropriate safeguard recognised under the UK/EU GDPR.
How long we keep your information
WPI retains your registration data for 24 months after the final webinar, then deletes or anonymises it unless you have asked to stay on our mailing list or we must retain it for legal reasons. Workday’s own retention practices apply to its copy of your data, as set out in its privacy policy.

Please raise any concern with us first at info@workforceplanninginstitute.com. You may also complain to a regulator: in Australia the OAIC (www.oaic.gov.au); in the UK the ICO (www.ico.org.uk); in the EEA your local data protection authority.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always available at registration, dated at the top.
